Mahachedi Buddhagaya (Pagoda)

Wat Buddharatanaram is pleased to announce plans to construct a replica of the Buddha's pagoda, Mahachedi Buddhagaya (Bodh Gaya). The pagoda will be approximately 93 feet by 36 feet.  Inside, it will consist of a museum depicting the Buddha's place of birth, gaining enlightenment, giving the first preaching sermon, and nirvana.  The project will begin in 2009.  The construction costs estimated at $1,200.000.  All contributions are tax-deductible and will help make this a reality.
